RBC is a specialist IT integrator of software and hardware systems, focusing on the retail vertical, and branching into food and logistics. We have acquired 49% of the group’s shares in 2014, becoming partner with Andrei Bojita, the group’s CEO.

RBC works with both reputable technology and software vendors such as Wincor Nixdorf, Bizerba or Motorola and with own software and services. The group is proud to have as clients some of the most important European retail chains present in Romania – Carrefour, Kaufland, Lidl, Metro, Rewe, Ikea, Leroy Merlin – plus hundreds of other local or international players. In total, the RBC group touches more than 2,000 key retail points in the country, for which it provides retail and fiscal systems: cash registrars, fiscal printers, weighing equipment, scanners, and retail software, and the related maintenance services of all levels.
RBC also works with some of the most notable food producers in Romania such as Scandia, Cris-Tim, Transavia or Agricola Bacau.

Key facts:

  • Provider of retail and fiscal IT solutions, food processing solutions, warehouse management systems
  • Turnover of approximately EUR 16.5 m in 2015
  • More than 1000 customers
  • Approximately 120 employees, of which 70 technical specialists, able to service rapidly any client on the Romanian territory
  • More than 20 international technology partners, including Motorola, Wincor Nixdorf, Fujitsu, Bizerba, and Microsoft

Oresa has a long track record in developing successful companies alongside Romanian entrepreneurs. Together with Oresa, we want to take RBC into the next stage of growth. We plan to accelerate the Group’s development by adding new services in our current market segments and increasing the focus on retail, thus strengthening our traditionally known vertical of activities. On the other hand, by further developing we will consider entering new segments, tangent to our interests.
